Hickcox, Robertson & Stunda, LLC is seeking a motivated associate attorney to join our Nashville workers' compensation defense practice. New graduates and candidates with up to three years of experience are encouraged to apply — we are happy to consider pending Tennessee bar admission.HRS (www.hrslawfirm.com) is a regional insurance defense firm specializing in state and federal workers' compensation defense, including Longshore and Harbor Worker and Defense Base Act claims, with offices across the Southeast.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a workers' compensation defense docket with direct partner mentorship
- Handle hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement evaluations
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and written evaluations
- Build relationships with adjusters, employers, and opposing counsel
What We're Looking For:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; Tennessee bar admission or pending admission required
- 0–3 years of litigation experience; new graduates are welcome. Candidates with additional experience will also be considered for the right fit.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a steady caseload
