Description:Workers' Compensation Attorney
LaBovick Law Group | Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
We Fight to Win. We Fight for People.
At LaBovick Law Group, we don't practice law just to move files from one desk to another.
We represent real people who are often going through one of the hardest periods of their lives. They've been injured. They're worried about their health, their paycheck, their family, and what comes next. They need an attorney who understands that their case isn't just another case — it's their life.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Workers' Compensation Attorney who knows how to advocate, knows how to communicate, and isn't afraid to fight when fighting is what the client needs.
If you want to be part of a firm where expectations are high, accountability matters, and winning for our clients means something, we should talk.
What You'll Do:
As a Workers' Compensation Attorney at LaBovick Law Group, you'll manage and advocate for injured workers throughout the lifecycle of their claims.
You'll be expected to:
- Manage a caseload of Florida workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution.
- Develop case strategy and proactively move cases forward rather than waiting for the next deadline.
- Counsel clients regarding their rights, options, risks, and expectations throughout the process.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other proceedings.
- Prepare petitions, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents.
- Negotiate strategically with opposing counsel, carriers, and other parties.
- Identify opportunities to maximize outcomes for our clients.
- Maintain strong, consistent client communication.
- Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal assistants, leadership, and other practice areas.
- Maintain accurate case information, documentation, deadlines, and reporting.
- Take ownership of your cases and your results.
Most importantly, you'll make sure our clients know they have someone in their corner.
The Attorney We're Looking For
- We're not looking for someone who simply checks boxes.
- We're looking for an attorney who thinks ahead.
- Someone who can look at a case and ask:
- Are licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
- Have experience handling Florida workers' compensation matters.
- Understand the Florida workers' compensation system and can independently manage cases.
- Are comfortable handling depositions, mediations, hearings, negotiations, and litigation strategy.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients.
- Can manage competing deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Are coachable and willing to continuously improve.
- Use technology and systems to work smarter and more efficiently.
- Hold yourself accountable instead of waiting for someone else to tell you what needs to happen.
- Want to be measured by results and the quality of service you provide.
Plaintiff-side workers' compensation experience is strongly preferred.
Our Culture Isn't for Everyone — and That's Okay.
Our core values aren't words we put on a wall. They're how we expect our team to operate.
Fight to Win
We prepare. We compete. We don't settle for mediocre effort when our clients are depending on us.
Passion to Serve
Great legal representation isn't only about the outcome. It's about how we treat people along the way. Our clients should feel heard, informed, and represented.
Relentless Innovation
“That's how we've always done it” isn't a strategy. We embrace technology, better processes, new ideas, and smarter ways of practicing law.
Own It
If it's yours, own it. Own the problem. Own the communication. Own the deadline. Own the result.
And we expect our people to be:
Hungry. Smart. Humble.
- Hungry enough to want to get better.
- Smart enough to make good decisions.
- Humble enough to know there's always more to learn.
