Position Overview:
We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney with 3–10 years of experience to play a central role in shaping and leading our newly established Workers' Compensation Department. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about advocating for injured workers and eager to take on both leadership and litigation responsibilities.
Ideal candidates will have strong writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom skills. Prior Workers' Compensation or personal injury experience is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. You will work closely with the firm's owner and collaborate in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and help build our new Workers' Compensation Department
- Represent clients in all phases of Workers' Compensation claims, including discovery, depositions, and hearings
- Analyze medical records and perform legal research to evaluate case value and strategy
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, appeals, and other legal documents
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing guidance on rights and options
- Appear before Workers' Compensation Judges and advocate for clients at hearings
- Monitor caseload progress and ensure compliance with cost and efficiency standards
- Stay current on Workers' Compensation legal developments and best practices
Qualifications:
- 3–10 years of legal experience (Workers' Compensation or personal injury experience preferred)
- Strong litigation, research, and administrative skills
- Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and communication abilities
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and professionalism
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving practice area
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $100,000–$150,000, based on experience

Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
