Summary:
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our Naples office. The Workers Compensation Associate Attorney will support fellow Attorneys with a heavy and complex case-load of Workers Compensation casesl, and will benefit from working at the firm with the largest marketing budget in this space. You will learn how M&M handles Workers Compensation cases and how we maximize the best result for the claimants. Our lawyers work the best cases, with close to unlimited resources, and alongside world-class trial Attorneys.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
  • Guide claimants through the case process
  • Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
  • Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.

Qualifications:
  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association. Multiple State Bar Licenses preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years of workers compensation experience
  • Ability to manage high volume of cases through full life cycle
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
