Barnes Walker, an established law firm with its main office in Bradenton and branch offices in Holmes Beach, Parrish, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota, seeks an associate to work with a Florida Bar board-certified Wills, Trusts and Estates attorney in its Bradenton office. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, a commitment to regular office hours, and the discipline to establish and follow sound practice procedures. The position will involve immediate hands-on estate planning and probate and trust administrations working directly with clients. An LLM in tax or estate planning, or an accounting or business background would be helpful, but relevant experience and professional activities will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree or non-legal experience. Compensation will be based upon experience and include a bonus program, a retirement program with matching employer contributions, available employer-paid health insurance, and paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Our firm is ideally located in Bradenton, FL, centrally located between the white powder sand beaches, waterfront restaurants, boating, and watersports of Anna Maria Island; the fine dining, culture, and arts of Sarasota and St. Petersburg; and the vibrant urban social scene and nightlife of Tampa.
