Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a Junior Associate with at least 2 to 4 years of experience to join the Governmental Practice Group in our Dallas office.Sheppard is a global Am Law 50 full-service law firm with over 1,200 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. We provide a full range of legal services to clients conducting international business and offer associates challenging and interesting work with a collegial team of lawyers who are passionate about what they do. Our White Collar Defense team represents companies and individuals in high-stakes criminal and regulatory matters, including government and internal investigations, enforcement actions, grand jury proceedings, and parallel civil litigation. We are known for strategic counseling, excellent written advocacy, and strong courtroom work.
Our White Collar Defense Associates are given meaningful responsibility early in their careers, including opportunities to support criminal trial work, develop core advocacy skills, and communicate directly with clients on fast-moving, high-impact matters. We seek a talented litigator with at least 2 to 4 years of litigation experience to support our continued growth. The ideal candidate should excel in the following areas:
- Strong litigation skills, with a preference for experience in government investigations and criminal defense
- Strong judgement, attention to detail, and ability to perform under tight deadlines
- Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
- Participating in client communications and matter management, commensurate with experience
