Responsibilities and practice:
The New York office of A Worlds Largest Law Firm is seeking a senior associate with excellent academic credentials and 6-8 years of legal experience to join our Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice. The associate will focus on a broad range of issues relating to estate planning, tax, real estate, disputes, investments and succession planning. Expected responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drafting Wills, Trusts, and related documentation
  • Advising Executors and Trustees regarding the administration of complex international and domestic estates and trusts
  • Preparing and filing estate and gift tax returns and tax-exemption applications
  • Advising individuals and families on trust structures and private client tax matters
  • Providing litigation support
  • Directly interacting with clients and other advisors to work together on sophisticated, highly sensitive matters while achieving client objectives nationally and internationally

Pursuant to New York law, the salary range for this position will be $390,000 - $435,000 based on experience. Based on years of experience, A Worlds Largest Law Firm associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Other Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing. Being licensed in New Jersey, as well as in New York, would be a plus
