Job Description:Sauvey Law Group, APC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to provide exceptional legal services to our clients in litigation of trust, probate, and conservatorship matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney who is passionate about litigation and seeking to develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting legal research and analysis on various trust and probate issues
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and objectives
- Collaborating with team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies
- Representing clients in probate court proceedings as needed
- Propounding and responding to discovery
- Engaging in litigation strategies and facilitating litigated matters
- Assisting with the administration of trusts and probate estates
- Conducting depositions
- Handling trials and trial preparation
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation or estate litigation
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail is required
