Description:
San Diego Elder Law Center, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our team. Founded in 1997, we specialize in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate Law, with a distinct focus and reputation in Elder Law, Special Needs Law, and incapacity planning and related issues. We have a need for an Associate Attorney with litigation experience, preferably in the Trust and Estates or Elder Law fields. We currently refer litigated issues outside the firm, and wish to bring at least some of this in-house with the right candidate. Existing firm members can support a litigator with excellent and experienced case assessment and planning strategy.

About the role:
We are looking for an attorney with:
- A minimum of three years' experience in contested matters. It is preferable that this be in our area of practice, which would include:
- Contested conservatorship proceedings.
- Elder financial abuse and undue influence
- Will and trust contests and litigation
- Litigation experience should include demonstrable experience in settlement and mediation as well as evidentiary proceedings.
- Non-contested transactional experience in Estate Administration and Conservatorships is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- A friendly, intelligent, and professional demeanor.
