We are a business-minded estate planning law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced Associate to join our team and work directly with the owners and attorneys to support the team and help clients.

We are known for helping client families plan for and come through a difficult and emotional process, in the best way possible, while producing the results they expect.

We are growing fast, and we need an Associate who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing (Besides Loving Your Job)
  • Be a key member of our legal team.
  • Be responsible for providing outstanding legal representation to client families during the estate settlement and probate process, including: leading the clients through the process quickly and efficiently, assisting them in the completion of all documentation necessary for transferring assets pursuant to the plan design, providing advice and direction regarding the most effective implementation of the plan, providing direction regarding their legal and fiduciary duties, and facilitating the resolution of problems as they arise.
  • If a probate proceeding becomes necessary, you will be responsible for any necessary legal research; drafting pleadings, orders, and, infrequently, representing clients in court during hearings as necessary to effectively move through the matter.
  • No contested or litigated matters!
  • Consult with prospective clients and lead them through our proprietary Estate Planning Processes.
  • Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior Estate Planning and Asset Protection work products.
  • Advise clients regarding planning for their retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options.
  • Help solve legal problems for clients through understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, and creating a strategic plan of action.
  • Prepare wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in estate planning, elder law, trust administration, and probate.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal handholding.

Compensation:
$105,000 - $130,000
