PKS Law Group, P.C. is a growing California law firm looking for a Trial Attorney who wants to spend real time in the courtroom. You'll handle your own appearances from early on, work alongside experienced litigators, and enjoy the flexibility of working from home between court dates.Why join us:

What You'll Work On:
Landlord-tenant and real estate matters in courts throughout the Bay Area, including:
- Rent control issues
- Litigate unlawful detainer actions in California state courts on behalf of property owners and managers
- Defend and conduct depositions
- Provide legal advice through phone consultations, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients accordingly
- Respond to client questions and concerns in order to increase and retain business
- Work with legal staff to prepare motions, pleadings, stipulations and other trial-related court documents
- Propound and respond to discovery, depositions, and motions
What We're Looking For:
- At least 1 year of litigation experience (landlord-tenant or unlawful detainer experience preferred)
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail
- Comfort working independently, along with a collaborative, low-ego approach
Requirements:
- Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance for travel to Bay Area courthouses
- Ability to work onsite at Benicia office for the first 30–60 days
