Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Trial Attorney (Wage & Hour). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a docket of employment law cases, ensuring efficient case progression, and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Develop case strategies and present arguments before judges and juries.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial.
- Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters.
- Work collaboratively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.
- Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
- Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts.
- Monitor compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Participate in client development and business generation activities.
- Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
- Develop and implement litigation budgets.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants.
Qualifications:
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
Experience:
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in class actions or complex civil litigation.
- Trial experience, including depositions, motions, and courtroom advocacy.
- Strong background in procedural rules governing class actions (e.g., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure).
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million dollar class action settlements.
- Track record of successful class certification motions.

- Strong network and reputation in the legal community for class action litigation.
- Advanced degree in Labor Law, Employment Law, or related field.
- Federal court litigation experience.
- Publication record in legal journals or speaking engagements at industry conferences.
