Role Description:This is a full-time Trial Attorney role at A Law Firm Based out of New York, NY. The Trial Attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload from inception to trial and working closely with clients. This role will involve conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, appearing in court, and negotiating settlements. Some remote work is acceptable, but the role is primarily located in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of New York
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Trial Attorney
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in civil litigation, preferably in personal injury law
- Experience with New York state court procedures and rules
