Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, and must have strong trial and courtroom experience. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, thorough legal research capabilities, and the ability to manage complex litigation cases effectively. The trial Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, and providing sound legal advice. Experience in Employment law, Personal Injury law, and/or Medical Malpractice law is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters across various practice areas
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.
  • Prepare for trials by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive representation.

Requirements:
  • Admission to the Texas bar or a plan to do so is required.
  • Experience or knowledge in civil litigation or Employment law, Medical Malpractice law, Personal Injury law, is preferred.
  • Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
