Our Tax practice group seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience (Class of 2021-2023) for its nationally ranked real estate capital markets and real estate funds practice. Candidates must have experience with federal income tax matters, including exposure to the fundamentals of corporate and partnership taxation, conducting associated research, and drafting memoranda and other forms of written advice. Experience with taxation matters involving REITs is preferred. The position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactional tax matters, including joint ventures, M&A, private equity, capital markets, inbound foreign investment, and debt instruments, with a particular focus on the REIT and real estate industries. Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience are required. The annual base salary ranges from $260,000 to $365,000.
