Job Description Summary:
A Global Law Firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our Investment Funds practice group. This position is open to our Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Washington, D.C. and California offices. The ideal candidate will have transactional tax experience dealing with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross border transactions. We seek candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds. Interested candidates should have strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Requirements:
  • J.D.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you are applying
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
