We are seeking a Transactional and Paralegal Attorney to join our in-house legal team. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's real estate, corporate, and commercial transactions, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations across our multi-state operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and real estate contracts, including leases, purchase agreements, supply contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Support corporate governance, entity formation, and maintenance across multiple states.
- Assist with M&A transactions, due diligence, and regulatory filings.
- Provide legal and paralegal support on fuel supply, franchise, and licensing matters.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, labor, and business regulations.
- Coordinate with external counsel and internal departments (operations, real estate, HR, and finance) to ensure seamless legal support.
- Maintain organized corporate records and contract management systems.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership (Texas preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in corporate, real estate, or transactional law (in-house or law firm).
- Experience in retail, fuel, convenience store, or multi-location business operations is a strong plus.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across states with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a business-oriented mindset.
