Description:
We're looking for a transactional attorney to join our real estate, business, and construction practice. You'll be the person clients call when a deal needs to be reviewed, drafted, negotiated, and closed. You read a contract the way a chess player reads the board — already a few moves ahead. You think strategically about asset protection and structure, and you know how to get the best outcome while keeping the deal aligned with what the client actually wants.

The clients we serve are business owners, investors, developers, and lenders working on deals in the multi-million dollar range. They're counting on you to help them build something — and you won't be watching from the sidelines. You'll be one of the people making it happen.

Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts across real estate, business, and construction transactions — purchase and sale agreements, leases, LLC and partnership agreements, construction contracts, and related deal documents
  • Structure deals with an eye toward asset protection and long-term client goals, not just getting to closing
  • Manage transactions from intake through close, including coordinating with title companies, lenders, brokers, and opposing counsel
  • Spot issues before they become problems — flag risk, liability, and structural concerns early and advise clients clearly on how to handle them
  • Communicate directly with clients throughout the deal, translating legal complexity into plain guidance they can actually use to make decisions
  • Conduct due diligence on entities, properties, and contracts as needed for a given transaction
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on the team to keep matters moving and deadlines on track
  • Maintain accurate, timely billing and case documentation in line with firm standards
  • Stay current on Texas real estate, business, and construction law, and bring that knowledge back to the team

Qualifications:
  • A technically strong, commercially minded attorney with deep transactional experience
  • Comfortable leading complex deals with minimal oversight
  • A sharp negotiator with excellent drafting precision
  • A trusted advisor who can guide clients on strategy, structure, and risk
  • Collaborative, ambitious, and energized by building something meaningful

Compensation:
$121,000 - $150,000 yearly
