Description:

Our transactional team is growing! A Corporate Litigation and Transactional Law Firm is seeking a Transactional Associate to play a critical role in negotiating and advising clients on contracts for corporate clients. As part of A Corporate Litigation and Transactional Law Firm General Counsel, Transactional, and M&A group, the Transactional Associate will serve a vital role in representing clients in a wide range of transactional legal matters, from licensing agreements to representing clients in fund raising activities and a wide array of contract negotiations.

Candidates for the Transactional Associate should have at least two years of experience and a strong interest in gaining corporate, M&A and general transactional experience. Candidates should also be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California. Experience in this subject not as important as a strong hunger to learn more and go above and beyond for our clients. Familiarity with working with SaaS and software companies is a plus, but not required, and remote working arrangements may be available.

Unlike behemoth Big Law firms, A Corporate Litigation and Transactional Law Firm empowers its attorneys. We offer associates the opportunity to grow their practice, to lead, and to own the transactional process. If you are looking to land a job where you are making a difference – not simply pushing documents and processing due diligence – and would actually like to start running your own deals, throw your name in to be considered as the next Transactional Associate to join Klinedinst. Take your career to great heights, and apply today.

What candidates can expect as a Transactional Associate at A Corporate Litigation and Transactional Law Firm:
  • The opportunity to participate in contract negotiation and interface directly with business teams in the process of contract negotiation
  • Analyze, review and draft contracts, discussing issues and priorities with the business teams and corporate leadership at various stages of each project
  • Supervise and work with outside counsel, when appropriate, on particular matters
  • Provide guidance and counsel on a variety of legal topics, with a focus on contract and M&A matters
