An Intellectual Property Boutique Law Firm, a New Jersey based intellectual property law firm, is seeking to hire an experienced patent attorney with a background in electrical engineering, computer science or related discipline, and an experienced trademark attorney.We are seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates with excellent academic credentials, communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Patent Attorney
Experienced patent attorneys with some portable business, and experience in drafting and prosecuting technology and software applications, managing IP portfolios, counseling clients, performing patentability and clearance opinions, experience with domestic and international prosecution, and PCT practice, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of technologies.
- JD, NJ State Bar or willingness to gain admission, USPTO Bar with a strong academic background.
- At least 3 year of experience in patent prosecution.
- Experience with IP/patent litigation and licensing a plus.
Qualified candidates should ideally have at least 3 years of trademark prosecution experience including U.S. and international prosecution and portfolio maintenance, and conducting trademark searches and clearances. Experience with domain name Uniform Dispute Resolution Proceedings, trademark cease-and-desist matters, litigation, oppositions and cancellation actions, trademark licensing and due diligence in transactions, copyright and IP litigation strongly preferred.
