The Larry D. Thompson Fellowship Program
Locations: Purchase, New York or Plano, Texas
Now in its tenth year, the Larry D. Thompson Legacy of Leadership Fellowship Program will award fellowships to first-generation1, law students in their 1L year of law school.
The Program: The 2026 Thompson Fellowship Program (“the Program”) is a 9-week fellowship program with opportunities to work at PepsiCo's Headquarters located in Purchase, New York and Plano, Texas. The Program will begin late May 2026 through late mid-late July 2026. The exact start and end date of the Program are subject to change and will be communicated early 2026.
Responsibilities:
Thompson Fellows will have the opportunity to work on projects and with attorneys across various PepsiCo offices and practice areas. The Program curriculum will include guest speakers, seminars, professional development, legal tasks, and exposure to a range of practice areas, such as:
- Corporate Governance, Finance & Securities
- Litigation
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Labor / Employment and Human Rights
- Privacy
- Intellectual Property
- Regulatory
- Marketing
- Sales
- Compliance & Ethics
- Public Policy & Government Affairs
Compensation & Timeline: During the Program, Thompson Fellows will receive a $2,000.00 weekly stipend, which is subject to applicable withholdings.
- The expected compensation range for this role based on a full-time schedule is $50 per hour.
- Role, degree discipline, degree level, and location are part of the process when determining actual starting salary for positions
- Compensation for our campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable
Qualifications:
- First-generation1, first-year law student in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S.
- Strong academic achievement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
