About the Opportunity:A Law Firm Nationally Recognized for Its Strengths in Energy Law's top-ranked Telecommunications, Internet, & Media practice is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC. This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the forefront of law, policy, and technology. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in telecommunications law, including experience at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or in a practice focused on FCC regulatory matters. The anticipated salary range is $235,000 to $310,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Our Telecommunications practice is focused on satellite, internet, wireless, and international communications matters. The associate can expect to:
- Advise clients on complex regulatory, commercial, and technology issues shaping the telecommunications industry.
- Represent clients in proceedings before the FCC, including licensing, rulemaking, and enforcement matters.
- Work on high-stakes transactions requiring regulatory approval.
- Navigate novel legal questions related to satellite regulation, spectrum policy, internet governance, and programming disputes, among others.
- Conduct research and draft persuasive legal arguments for court and regulatory filings.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the District of Columbia Bar.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience.
