Job Details:Goodwin seeks a highly qualified junior associate to join our Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing (https://www.goodwinlaw.com/en/expertise/practices/strategic-technology-transactions-and-licensing) group. The associate will work on IP licensing and other technology transactions, as well as IP support of (including IP and technology due diligence in) M&A, venture financings and other corporate transactions, and gain meaningful experience drafting and negotiating technology and IP license agreements, customer agreements (including SaaS agreements), channel partner agreements (including OEM, VAR and other reseller agreements) and collaboration and other strategic alliance agreements. Candidates should have some experience with, or a demonstrated interest in, technology transactions, IP or related commercial work; strong drafting, analytical and organizational skills; keen attention to detail; and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Genuine curiosity about technology, including the issues presented by AI and open source software, is strongly preferred.
Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) and deal sheet are required.
