Required:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, or another state within the United States, at the time of application.
  • Minimum of one year's experience negotiating tax resolutions with the state and/or IRS.

What Will You Do?
Supported by experienced staff, Attorneys will be part of the creative process in solving tax cases and managing an assigned caseload.
  • Review a detailed financial analysis of the client's income, expenses, and assets to determine and/or confirm qualified resolution options for client.
  • Research and develop strategies to defend client's position while considering their specific goals.
  • Negotiate tax resolutions on behalf of clients with the state and/or IRS government entities either via phone or in person.
  • Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding case updates and expectations.
  • Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.
  • Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
What do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in Oklahoma, or another state within the United States, at the time of application.
  • Minimum of one year's experience negotiating tax resolutions with the state and/or IRS.
  • A positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
  • Capacity to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Capability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with a lot of client interaction
  • Receives enjoyment from problem solving and working through issues with clients and team members.
  • Adaptable and a team player when priorities shift, or unexpected challenges arise.
  • Equipment, such as computer, monitor, and smartphone needed to perform assigned work tasks.
  • Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.
  • Satisfactory background and reference checks.
