The Tax Group (https://www.skadden.com/capabilities/practices/tax/cc/tax) of the Chicago office (https://www.skadden.com/locations/americas/chicago) is looking for a mid-level associate (Class of 2023-2020) with strong transactional tax experience. Experience with partnerships and/or REITs is a plus. A successful candidate must have a passion for providing high-quality work product and service to our clients.The starting base salary for this Chicago position is expected to be between $260,000 - $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

Our current hybrid work model consists of working Monday through Thursday in the office. Attorneys also receive the opportunity to work remotely for specified periods throughout the year.
