As a Tax Counsel for Bosch North America, you will not just monitor compliance; you will serve as a critical strategic partner in shaping our corporate footprint. Sitting at the intersection of law, finance, and cross-border commerce, you will lead the tax strategy for high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and post-merger integrations across North America.

  • Act as tax interface for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in North America, including (but not limited to):
  • structuring transactions to achieve tax efficiency and minimize risks
  • managing tax due diligence
  • reviewing and negotiating tax provisions in M&A agreements
  • General tax planning with matrix business units
  • Support post-acquisition integration and legal entity simplification initiatives
  • Collaboration with business units, legal, finance / accounting, treasury, and HR departments and external tax advisors on corporate transactions
  • Provide tax legal guidance on domestic and international tax issues affecting business operations, including commercial contract review
  • Support permanent establishment (PE) reviews and transfer pricing models for intercompany agreements, while defending positions during transfer pricing controversies.
  • Support transfer pricing controversy process

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 3 – 5+ years of relevant tax advisory experience with accounting firm, law firm, or in-house multinational corporation
  • Strong knowledge in: corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and cross border transactions
  • Contract drafting and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong English communication skills, both orally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • LL.M. in Taxation
  • Prior experience working within a large, multinational manufacturing or technology organization
  • Familiarity with BEPS, Pillar Two, and global minimum tax developments
