Description:
Washington County is currently seeking a Supervising Assistant District Attorney. Under the direct supervision of the District Attorney or the Chief Assistant District Attorney, an incumbent of this position prepares and prosecutes all targeted cases referred to area of assignment. Although the District Attorney and Chief Assistant District Attorney are available for direction, consultation and advice, latitude is given for the exercise of independent judgment. Supervision may be exercised over a small number of Assistant District Attorneys on a regular or assigned basis. Does related work as required.Suggested Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a license to practice law in the State of New York and other qualifications as the District Attorney may prescribe.
