Description:

Richards, Layton & Finger is accepting applications from first-year law students (graduating in 2029) for our summer associate program. Please see our website for more information: https://www.rlf.com/careers/law-students-associates/.

While the Firm regularly evaluates its needs, the majority of available positions will likely be for the student's 2L summer in 2028. A few positions may be available for a student to participate in both their 1L and 2L summers, in 2027 and 2028. In addition to the weekly summer associate salary, summer associates may be eligible for special bonuses to be paid at the start of each summer.

Law students do junior associate-level work across many litigation and transactional practice areas.

To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, law school transcript (when available), and writing sample.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You are welcome to apply before your law school transcript is available. If the transcript has not been released at the time you submit your other application materials, please add it to your application when you receive it.

All new summer associate and attorney hires must be legally entitled to work in the U.S. and not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
