Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP invites 1L law students to apply for our Summer Program for 2026 and 2027. Our program is designed to provide a meaningful and immersive experience that allows you to gain valuable skills while working with some of the world's most innovative companies. A highlight of our program is our firm-wide Summer Associate Retreat focused on professional development and networking. You'll also get to be part of our commitment to our communities by engaging in pro bono and volunteer opportunities throughout the summer.

We are currently seeking students with a demonstrated interest in one or more of the following practice areas:

Trademark & Copyright Litigation and Counseling
Corporate Transactions – M&A & Securities; Commercial Finance; Investment Management & Broker-Dealer
Litigation – Commercial Litigation; Construction Litigation
Patent Litigation
Patent Prosecution

What We're Looking For:

Academic Excellence – Demonstrated academic achievement
Leadership – Meaningful involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities
Technical Backgrounds – For Patent Prosecution roles, a degree in a relevant technical field is required, including:

Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering
Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic)
Advanced STEM degrees are highly encouraged

Compensation:
We expect to pay a salary of $4,327/week for this position.
