Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, real estate law, immigration law, and family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. As a Staff Attorney, you will work closely with clients to provide legal advice, represent them in litigation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel in areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law & regulations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as necessary.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
  • Provide exceptional client service by communicating effectively and addressing client concerns promptly.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong knowledge of various areas of law including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal laws & regulations.
  • Proven experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
