Description:
Kansas Legal Services (KLS) is seeking a Kansas-licensed attorney to provide civil legal representation to low-income Kansans in Anderson, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Lyon, Marion and Morris counties. This position focuses on general poverty law and addresses legal issues that directly impact clients' social and economic stability. This position may practice some criminal law.Primary practice areas include family law, elder law, housing law, and advocacy for victims of crime. The attorney will work closely with individuals and families to resolve critical civil legal matters and promote long-term stability.

Qualifications:
- Active Kansas law license (or recent law graduate planning to sit for the Kansas Bar Exam)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to serving low-income individuals and delivering high-quality legal services
- Recent law school graduates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits:
Minimum starting salary: $65,000 per year, with salary adjustments based on experience.
