Description:Burr & Forman has an immediate opening in our Chicago, IL office for an experienced Staff Attorney within our Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy group. This position requires a J.D. degree and membership in the Illinois State Bar. The Staff Attorney will manage a growing, high-volume caseload of commercial foreclosure matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to build deep subject-matter expertise, take ownership of a substantial docket, and play a key role in the continued growth of an established and rapidly expanding client relationship. Successful candidates should possess experience handling commercial and/or residential foreclosure matters, as well as strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills. Candidates must be qualified to practice law in Illinois, and qualifications to practice law in other states (District of Columbia, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and/or Wisconsin) is preferred but not required.
