This position works closely with senior attorneys and partners to provide support with clients and cases. This will include a broad range of activities, such as research, drafting documents, trial preparation, and communicating with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Case handling and case management, to include law and motion work, take and defend depositions, and make court appearances.
- Provide exceptional client services; communicate advice in a clear and concise manner.
- Insurance Group Associates will assist with first party property, coverage, and bad faith caseload as needed.
- Conduct research, draft opinions, and assist in mediations and/or trial.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to seek expertise or share knowledge.
- Stay up to date with legal developments, changes in law, and know best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent academic credentials; above average writing and communication skills.
- Three to Ten years of general liability experience, trial preparation experience, or personal injury experience
- Prior experience with time entry
- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, individually or as a team
- Ability to commute to the office, especially during introductory period
