Description:Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.
Essential Functions:
- Provides legal counsel to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Participates in litigation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA Accredited law school and admission to the bar or equivalent in jurisdiction outside the U.S., and eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel.
Minimum Experience:
Four (4) years of experience and demonstrated competency in relevant area of law specialization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Superior academic record. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing corporate compliance programs, familiarity with best in class investigative practices, and a demonstrated record of conducting complex workplace investigations. Key Areas of Responsibility: Global Investigative Program Governance, Investigative Oversight and Supervision, and Conducting Complex Workplace Investigations.
