Description:Job Duties:
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state and local laws. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the bar.
Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years experience and demonstrated competency relevant to area of legal specialization. Superior academic record.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Independently handles all aspects of litigation, including preparing responsive pleadings, engaging in discovery and law and motion practice, trying cases to verdict before juries and judges, and handling issues on appeal. Litigation includes complex and/or class action practice.
