Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and conduct all phases of discovery
- Prepare clients for and defend clients at depositions; take depositions of experts and opposing parties
- Maintain regular communication with clients via phone and email, providing case updates and gathering necessary information
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
- Drive cases forward by proactively managing complex dockets, deadlines, and competing priorities
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- State bar license
- 2-5 years of experience at a personal injury law firm
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
