The Corporate Attorney / Staff Attorney - Contracts is a member of the Legal Department. An Energy Equipment & Solutions Company Legal Department researches, develops and distributes legal information and guidance in support of An Energy Equipment & Solutions Company's internal and external business. The individual in this position will provide legal and other work in pursuit of developing and maintaining the support of the Legal Department.

General Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle process for a diverse range of commercial contracts and related agreements, including: customer support and assistance on all phases of the contract lifecycle; resolution of contract related issues between internal and external customers; and organize and record contract data in a timely manner in order to facilitate reporting and record keeping practices.
  • Draft and Negotiate Global and Domestic Sales and Purchase Contracts.
  • Draft, Review and Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Licensing Agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal business unit leaders to understand overall business needs to achieve maximum efficiencies in the contracting process, providing recommendations as appropriate.
  • Identify and recommend innovative and continuous process improvements, including non-system and system processes, to achieve excellent customer service with internal business units and external customers.
  • Provide training related to contract policies, procedures and contract management system requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school;
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience. Commercial contracts experience preferred.
  • Bar admission in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients at varying levels of organization, identify their needs and present practical solutions.
