In this role you will:
- Assist with interpretation of and compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations, conduct legal research, draft legal documents and memorandums, and advise program staff all in support of DPH's mission to protect and improve the health and safety of Connecticut's residents; and
- Assist the DPH Legal Director with various legal issues that arise within the Department including compliance with FOIA, HIPAA, confidentiality, the Code of Ethics, CHRO/employment matters, and review and drafting of legislation and regulations.

- Performs advanced and complex legal work of an agency;
