As a result of An American Auto Insurance Company's digital and data transformation, the Legal team operates in a demanding and fast paced environment. As Senior Director, Technology Contracts Attorney, you will be a pivotal member of our legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, negotiate, and review a diverse range of technology agreements, including but not limited to software and technology licensing, master services, statements of work, supply and distribution, cloud technology, cloud hosting, data colocation, domain-name ownership, SaaS, XaaS, resellers, professional services, development, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and legal support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with external partners to facilitate successful technology transactions and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement best practices, standard templates, and processes for technology contract management to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to inform legal strategy and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from a recognized, accredited law school.
  • 10+ years of experience specializing in technology contracts and agreements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and lead by example.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strategic judgment to assess risks and make informed decisions.

Additional Qualifications (Desirable):
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Prior experience managing a team of legal professionals.
