As Senior Director, Technology Contracts Attorney, you will be a pivotal member of our legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review a diverse range of technology agreements, including but not limited to software and technology licensing, master services, statements of work, supply and distribution, cloud technology, cloud hosting, data colocation, domain-name ownership, SaaS, XaaS, resellers, professional services, development, and nondisclosure agreements.
- Provide strategic guidance and legal support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with external partners to facilitate successful technology transactions and partnerships.
- Develop and implement best practices, standard templates, and processes for technology contract management to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to inform legal strategy and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from a recognized, accredited law school.
- 10+ years of experience specializing in technology contracts and agreements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and lead by example.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strategic judgment to assess risks and make informed decisions.
Additional Qualifications (Desirable):
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Prior experience managing a team of legal professionals.
