Description:

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is seeking law students interested in gaining meaningful, hands-on legal experience while making a difference in the community.

Our law clerks work alongside experienced attorneys on substantive legal matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and memoranda, participating in case reviews, shadow attorneys, and observing hearings and proceedings as schedules permit. Students are treated as members of the legal team and entrusted with meaningful work that supports Legal Aid Center's mission of expanding access to justice.

Law clerks who are eligible also have the opportunity to fulfill Nevada's supervised practice requirement, allowing them to begin meeting licensing requirements while still in law school.
