Under the general direction of a Senior Assistant Inspector General, the incumbent will assess, review, and report on critical incidents, internal investigations, and the litigation of disciplinary actions that occur within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) which include matters that are sensitive, complex, or controversial. The incumbent will monitor CDCR's Employment Advocacy and Prosecution Team (EAPT), the Office of Internal Affairs (OIA), and hiring authorities to ensure the appropriateness of its policies, practices, and disciplinary systems.

This position is eligible for teleworking under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, but some in-office work may be required.

Please note this position is located in San Bernardino county and assigned to OIG's office in Rancho Cucamonga.
