Position Summary:
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office is the largest Prosecutor's Office in the State of Indiana. The Trial Court Division prosecutes more than 29,000 cases annually and prosecutes more than 1 in 5 jury trials in the State. The Office seeks individuals passionate about seeking justice on behalf of all citizens and making the community a safer place to live.

Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Major Felony Deputy Prosecutors handle sex crimes and child abuse cases, including neglect cases resulting in death. Major felony trial experience is preferred.

Job Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Required:

Prior prosecutorial experience, preferred.
Major felony trial experience is required.
Previous jury trial experience is required.
Has attended or is willing to attend ChildFirst Course, required.
Ability to manage a highly demanding workload.
Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Possesses good communication skills, both written and verbal.
