Job DescriptionWe Are a Title Company in Rockville and Are Seeking a Settlement Attorney. the Settlement Attorney Will Be Responsible for The Day-To-Day Examination and Underwriting of Title Files. They Will Also Be Responsible for Reviewing and Drafting Legal Documents, Resolving Curative Matters and Conducting Closings.
Experience:
Minimum of Two (2) Years of Experience in The Land Title Industry Is Required.
Education:
College Degree and Juris Doctorate Degree Required.
Certifications, Licenses, Insurance
Member of Maryland Bar, Title Insurance License, and Notary Public

- Clears and Resolves Curative Matters
- Reviews Commitments for Accuracy
- Assists Processors with Questions Regarding Curative Matters
- Answers Client Questions Pertaining to Title Insurance
- Reviews Underwriting Bulletins and Disseminate Information to Other Employees
- Reviews and Draft Deeds
- Drafts Contracts for New Clients
- Conducts Settlements
- Experience with Qualia Is a Plus
