A day in the life:
As part of our patent litigation group, you will join a talented team of patent attorneys with scientific, technical, and engineering backgrounds. Your days will be spent working closely with team attorneys and staff members representing clients in diverse fields. As a strong team player, you will fit right in with our collegial and intellectually engaging work environment in our office which is located in Heritage Plaza in downtown Houston.
We Know You:
You have 7-15 years of experience in all aspects of patent litigation, experience taking primary responsibility over various aspects of a patent infringement case, including general discovery practice and first chair deposition experience. Trial experience desired but not required. You possess a scientific or technical background such as a mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer science degree, or engineering degree, or relevant practical experience. Ideally, you are admitted to and in good standing in Texas, but this is also open to candidates admitted to a state Bar where An AmLaw100 Firm has an office. Being admitted to the USPTO is a plus but not required.
