Drafting, prosecution and defense of patent applications nationally and internationally
Supports the monitoring and appeals procedures of industrial property rights of third parties
Task management between partner law firm and IP department
Advises on development projects and cooperation agreements
Supports monitoring technology fields and identify opportunities, gaps and risks
Cooperation with R&D / engineering and product management teams to capture innovative ideas, to categorize and review of the potential value of such ideas as well as the coordination of novelty search
Cooperation with the global IP teams inclusive "IP champions" in engineering centers
Internal patent analysis to determine the strength and value of existing portfolios
Performs patent analysis of third-party portfolios for several business purpose
Maintains a database for the collection of innovation ideas and coordination of permits to track potential patents
Groundwork for national and international litigation and enforcement measures
Care of the patent database and coordination of the expenses for their care
Support for the preparation of quarterly reports for all patent and intellectual property activities
Proposes applications to extend the patent portfolio to prepare protection of new technologies align with the technology roadmap
