We are seeking a strategic Litigation Counsel with demonstrated expertise in Section 337 procedures and complex IP litigation to lead high-priority, fast-paced litigation matters with an immediate focus on matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). The ideal candidate is a strategic advocate who thrives under tight deadlines, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach to every stage of the litigation lifecycle.Group14 was the first to invent and the first to deliver its silicon anode technology at scale. This role offers the unique position to evolve and rapidly execute Group14's IP enforcement strategy leveraging a global patent portfolio. As the lead for matters before the ITC actions and litigation, you will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated legal strategies that safeguard Group14 innovations and maintain a fair, competitive marketplace. The ideal candidate has experience in both the legal strategy and the hands-on execution of complex litigation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the preparation, organization, and interpretation of complex legal documents and pleadings related to ITC investigations and IP litigation.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and exhibits that articulate the strength of Group14's IP assets and market leading position.
- Manage large-scale discovery workflows, including the oversight of document review, production sets, and trial exhibit preparation.
- Lead deposition preparation, including the compilation of exhibits, witness outlines, and logistical coordination for key testimony.
- Collaborate with internal business teams and external counsel/vendors to streamline workflows and enhance litigation processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school alongside an active bar membership.
- 4+ years of experience in IP litigation, with a significant focus on Section 337 ITC investigations.
- Proven track record of managing discovery and trial preparation in high-volume environments.
- Admission to the USPTO preferred.
Base Pay Range
$160,000 - $200,000 USD
