Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Attorney with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, a strong background in commercial litigation, and an existing book of clients. Experience in construction law or construction-related disputes is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is self-driven, business-minded, and capable of independently managing complex cases from intake through resolution.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Draft clear and persuasive legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and memoranda with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, patent law, and tribal regulations.
  • Negotiate settlements effectively while advocating for clients' best interests in various dispute resolution settings.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice on complex issues spanning multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies and legal standards.
  • Stay current on evolving laws by engaging in ongoing legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Support junior attorneys and paralegals by providing guidance on legal research techniques and drafting standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and uphold the firm's reputation for integrity and excellence.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing to practice law.
  • Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with a focus on commercial matters.
  • Existing book of clients required.
  • Construction law or construction litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and meet deadlines.
  • Professional presence and excellent communication skills.
