Description:
Immediate opportunity for an litigator with exceptional advocacy skills looking for first chair experience handling diversified business matters, including contract disputes, violation of restrictive covenants, employment/ labor conflicts, construction issues and employment discrimination. Position offers challenge, growth and equity potential, and the ability to work remotely.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from intake to conclusion
- Communicate with clients in employment, labor, contract, construction and domestic disputes
- Work closely with an experienced paralegal and the senior partner
- Handle court appearances, depositions, arbitrations and mediations
- Opportunity to handle transactional matters, if desired
Qualifications:
- Possess an excellent work ethic
- Proficiency with managing cases from start to finish
- Analytical ability researching regulatory and procedural issues
- Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, with preference for first chair
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Solid academic and employment credentials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team approach, and
- Admitted to practice in Georgia
