Job Overview:We are seeking a Senior Level Employment Litigation Attorney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex employment law cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and comprehensive knowledge of employment law statutes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of employment litigation cases, including personal injury claims, wrongful termination disputes, discrimination claims, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related lawsuits.
- Prepare and file legal motions, pleadings, and discovery documents; conduct court depositions; and oversee trial preparation activities.
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies; stay current on changes in employment law statutes and procedural law requirements.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
- Extensive experience in employment litigation.
- Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory legal research techniques, and legal case management systems.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis; familiarity with legal drafting software preferred.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting motions, briefs, contracts, and internal reports; excellent client communication abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation tactics, trial preparation strategies, and courtroom advocacy.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
