What You'll Bring: Education and Experience
  • Law degree from accredited law school required. Admission to a state bar, NJ or NY preferred or eligibility to obtain in-house counsel license in NJ.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience at a law firm and or corporate legal department with a focus on product safety or product liability, product warranty, regulatory compliance and general commercial litigation.
  • Substantive knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
  • Experience advising clients in all stages of civil litigation including strategy for pre-litigation dispute resolution and risk mitigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration and knowledge of insurance related issues.
  • Experience with Environmental Product Regulation, including compliance with EPA regulations, or knowledge of Antitrust Law, a plus.
